After 2 yrs and nearly 10k miles it's time to say arrivedeci to what was probably the best bike I've owned. Absolutely loved my non S Multistrada, an absolute weapon that even in my moderate hands was never dropped by all manner of sports bikes. Yes the straights were a struggle but on the twisties you cannot leave the multi behind, it's that brilliant. Thought I would buy a newer S model but instead bought a 2017 Tuono Factory. Only done 100 miles or so but wow, it's incredible, albeit not able to offer the 4 in 1 package like the multi. Have a few bits for sale dont seem able to load them up? Termi slip on used for about 4K miles and very clean. Still have box etc, £300 inc PP. Internal soft pannier bags, £25 inc PP Tinted Puig screen, £50 inc PP PM if interested and I'll provide pics/details. I will be back, current thinking is ride this beast for a few years and then maybe get the new model Multi. Other than a fuel return sender my bike was great...although on trade in dealer complained he'd need to change; chain, sprocket, disc and pads so looks like I jumped out at the right time. Happy riding boys!
Should have said my bike is a 2014 model so screen is 4 bolt arrangement. The soft bags are not official Ducati ones but rather ones I bought for £60. Only used on 2 Scottish tours so in perfect condition.
I didn't take any, even in Sunday when she was sitting all dirty in my garage. I did watch lamb chop on YouTube as he has 3 videos on the bike, worth watching if considering. Bloody fast and the clutch less, wide open throttle shifting is brilliant, mostly seamless. The can maybe ugly but the sound is brilliant.
I'm not sure why I'm a new member to be honest as been on here for a few years and sporadically post a lot of abuse/my view of things. Did a reset or something happen as when I logged back on a few months ago, to look at S models for sale, I noticed my history seemed to have been wiped.
