  11. I think I should be able to be a citizen having lived here for 11 years. I think that I should be able to disagree with the concept of a monarchy and still be a citizen of the country. I also think charging people £2000 to become a permanent resident and then £1400 to become a citizen is a scam.

  14. We are all entitled to our opinions...however, no one is obliged to agree with them.
    Equally, I'm not aware that anyone is forced to go through the 'process' to become a citizen; if one doesn't like the process or what it represents (including swearing allegiance and or the cost) one is not obliged...
