my Where in the world thread got me thinking Here's 1 of mine http://www.migflug.com/en?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIgMGs3M-O1gIVhrftCh1BJQwxEAAYASAAEgIYQPD_BwE
I suppose I'll have to sit down and draw up a proper list at some point, but in the meantime I'd like to visit Vietnam and Cambodia and travel round by bike (motor not push). And I'd also like to tour Europe more on my bike.
So much on there. I want to: Live and work in Australia, Canada, and a big city in Asia like Hong Kong. Drive to Japan from the UK. See some of Africa - mainly South Africa, Botswana, Tanzania. Spend six months to a year travelling in South America. Lots of diving spots in the Philippines, Indonesia, Tahiti, tonga. Learn to surf properly.
Sod having a bucket list, just get on with living , enjoy life and do stuff you want to do when you can.
Just wait for the girlfriend to finish her teacher training (pgce). Then we will both have jobs where we can work abroad and hopefully save some money up by working in the Middle East for a year or so. No kids, no mortgage, no significant commitments.
Don't bother with Africa. It's shit. And South America isn't much better. Steer clear of India too. It's shite n'all. Go east, Indonesia and South Korea are nice. Never been to Australia. Oh, Middle East- shite. Been living out of a bag since 1987 and now I'm all bitter and twisted... typing this laid in my offshore bunk somewhere off Nigeria. It's lovely!!
