1200 DVT Stuff I Have Done So Far.

  1. So having had the bike two weeks i have removed the metalwork from under the bike which was cream in colour and had it powder coated black, but i also removed the hugger, exhaust cover and the rage rear mudguard and had them carbon dipped at a local company A1 Hydro in Witney, them of Wheeler Dealers fame, not cheap but what a finish, looks exactly like carbon fibre, they dip it in water and the "stuff" sticks to it.

It improves the look i reckon and i will get the small chain guard done when the wheel comes off as there is a bolt i can't get to.

Just waiting for the Evotech stuff to come and then sorted.

  2. Pictures or it did not happen, those are the rules!!!!1

ps: Make a user album for photos & get adding

  3. How do i make a user album? i can take them using my iPad and post them but i guess thats not how you do it.

  4. User album > create user album is the first tab down. I've made two one for videos & one for photos. My videos are hosted on Vimeo but photo's are placed into the ducatiforumUk-album system I wish to share.

  6. Looking nice

  7. What a ridiculous statement

    • Drama Queen Drama Queen x 2
  8. I thought it was ok, made me wheel the bike out and take some pics.

  9. What sort of price is the dipping ?

  10. What are the rim stickers ? Did they come with the bike or did you add them?

  11. The dipping cost me £250 and I am well pleased, also had the exhaust cover done as well. They do every sort of colour scheme you can think of and more. They prepare the plastic with som sort of primer then dip, then some sort of protective coat on top. They were featured on wheeler dealers but don't take that as a negative.

Rim stickers from eBay at £28 from if I remember Hungary. Easy to fit.
