Humans don't explore. They exploit, deplete, exhaust and ruin and then go looking for something else to destroy. That's what space "exploration" is. We haven't even got further than our own front door in space exploration terms and already we've turned that bit into a toxic rubbish tip.
The sensible way is through fertility. I wouldn't want to commit human genocide and cause undue suffering. Besides 7 billion dead bodies wouldn't exactly be good for the environment initially. Let humanity die off naturally. Then our mice overlords and their dolphin minions can assume their rightful position.
You have to remember Johnny that a finbin answer, will almost always be about snp and independence Humans are inherently lazy, if they can take a short cut they will, they would rather scowl than smile, or at least the media and some forums would have you believe. World wars are always a good thing to turn me into we but as technology is making us less essential to the planet, the question what use is humanity, will become more. For me, I see more people smiling (normally when I leave the room) than want to shoot me (for now) so I'll take we ain't that bad yet but we are on a path. I think these ladies had a different button in mind though
That Korean guy has his hand on the button already It's just a matter of time Humans will be the demise of themselves

Global population has doubled since 1945 and it will continue rising. There is no possibility that it will "plateau" and stabilise, and even if it did it is already many times higher than is sustainable.
Cue, natural disaster, plague, world war 3, problem solved. Till next time. To easy to focus on all the bad when that is what gets reported in the media. Much more good in the world. FFS, lighten up a bit and enjoy what you have left.
Ok, it's hypothetical. So say you play god and enforce your morals on the planet and push your button managing to destroy all of humanity and leave all plants and animals in tact. What happens next? Well, with the possible exception of symbiosis, practically every species gets on with the job of trying to consume one or more other species. Now say one species does particularly well and some other species gets completely consumed. They adapt and keep doing well and more and more other species are driven to extinction. Do you play God again and wipe out the dominant species to make room for the next dominant species? Or do you think with mankind out the picture everything that's left will play nice and share?
Btw,is humanity the same as mankind? Imho humanity is what we need more of: it's mankind we need less of
Is everything ok? I don't want to die yet I have been given a death sentence already but I have much to do before I can be got rid of. I'm going to enjoy each day that I'm given
is everything ok? i would think it was perfectly normal if you look around to pose that question every now and then.
