What do you chaps do for air filters with these? I can't use the giant over trumpet sponge as I have showers. Is my only option BMC filters? Chicken wire over the intakes? Cheers...:smile:
Mesh over the over the intake mouths is what I use on my track bike. On a road bike I would be looking for a filter unit. BMC most probably.
BMC; Only downside is that they are small and so need cleaning regularly, they are however very easy to get at for cleaning.

Some do, my ducati performance ones have a pair of runners so you can just slide the original/pipercross filters straight in.
Found these as a poss alternative to BMC. Ducationly - the source for Ducati Motorcycle accessories. We send to Australia and Worldwide. Recon I'm going to get a set of Piper X filters (OEM shape) and see what comes up on eblag or just CF covers.
