I have several issues with that item. IMO there is insufficient length of wider track to ensure the front wheel sits in the vertical slot. The torsion axle does not look man enough for 2 sports bike so you need to ensure it's rated for 500 or better 600kg. The track overhangs the trailer board which is wrong and there are not enough tie downs and the ones that are there are in the wrong place. Just to bring a little context to my opinion, I routinely trailer 2 track bikes (NC29 with either the 853 or the 1098R) to Brands, Silverstone and Mallery or drop off for Spain and have when required, trailered the Multistrada and the Diavel. Net load capacity and tie downs (number of and location) are key areas to check on. Andy
Sure. I want 1 or 2 sports bikes, so good to have central channel as well as side two. Or have option of 3 trials bikes, top-2-toe.
Ha! We had a converted coach. He used to be a Roman Catholic but he became interested in Jewish sports, like toss the gefilter fish and hunt the bagel.
Build one it's fun! And it saves on bike mileage. I haven't been on either of mine all year cos I've been dragging my heels with the bloody trailer.
A coach...... Well, we did.....shoved the outifit in under the rear end where we had enough room to work on it; but left enough room up top for a lounge / kitchen and to sleep four people. The low area would take four solo machines easily.
If you have space, a box trailer is great as no one can see what’s in it if you stay at a hotel the night before and you can use it to store all your track kit (and bike) if needed. Also sleep trackside if needed, save on hotels
CR the ideal width you need is called a van. Just don't worry about all the reasons not to and get a cheap van (a normal size one) and just flog it when/if you finish with it. You'll find so many uses it for it and they're great for shouting "dya layk dags!?" out of the windows. Everyone's a winner. Sod the trailer idea, get a van and drive like a bastard
