Adam, someone on Facebook has suggested it might be from the gear selector drum. Have you had the engine apart?
I’ve had both side covers off, clutch side came off yesterday, definitely not from there. Apart from that the engine has stayed together. Forks were dropped straight out and left, swing arm removed and left. Rear subframe removed and left. Could it be somewhere from the clocks or headlight bucket possibly?
On my tt600 I’ve got a similar washer that sits at front under the nut that holds the fuel tank on at the front The cut out is to fit the shape. I’ll take a pic tomorrow if you havent got an answer by the. Just in case
I seem to recall there's a washer like that on the back of the lock that's attached to the cable that releases the seat mechanism
It was a while ago that I took the sub frame off, I'll have another look though. Cant seem to find it on the parts fiche either.
