996 Engine

  1. hi i'm pretty sure a standard 996 super bike engine should run single injector per cylender ?? and am i right in assuming a 16m ecu wont run a 2 injector per cyl throttle body ?? and should a standard 996 engine have the "desmo 4V DOHC" moulded in to the heads and not smooth like an SP/SPS ??? thanks

  2. the 996s runs a duel injector with a smaller ECU ( not P8)

  3. thanks nath, do you know if the head tops are smooth on the S or does it have desmo moulded into it ??
