Started taking the bike apart for a winter clean and service. In doing so I realised I need more room in the garage and I have a number of old helmets. What do people do with them? Destroy and bin? Hand over to emergency services for practice? Any other ideas?
if you have any old helmets im happy to take them....... a bit more practise for the airbrushing hobby!!
...if I put them in the street here there will be a fight outside in two ticks over who saw it first. But that goes for most anything you put out here.
Any charity outfits who take them? I was thinking a bit like the African bicycle project. But then again wearing helmets in some of those countries can be a little less commonplace.
I like the emergency services idea also! In fact ive messaged a few local friends int services to see if they need many, if so im thinking of starting a drop off donation point at my premises and then pass them on. I'll keep everyone informed
