Hi all Anyone got a shock for a 749 05 model. Mine failed mot last week they informed me it was leaking. I told them it was Acf50 on it as I always use it on my bikes. Got home and wiped it all down went for a short ride all clean. Today got it ready for retest took it for another ride and once back home noticed as that bottom of the shock very small amount of fluid. Don't think it's going to pass so need to get a replacement. If any one is selling one let me know. Thnaks Simon
To update,I got one from the yanks on eBay and fitted myself so now happy. Thanks to my works for supplying the straps and cages for suspending the bike and thanks to my local car tyre company for lending me some tools to get it all fixed. Best of all thanks to utube for showing me how, saved loads of money doing it.
