Since Saturday last I felt rough, no alcohol since the Friday. Serious pains in all my historical injuries, sneezing, coughing so bad it fell like I've broke some ribs. Just stayed in bed the last 48 hours..... I'm getting worried. Anyone else with man or the lesser lady flu? I think my may be antipodean!
Had it 2 weeks before Xmas Started to feel on the up after 4-5 days then it came back again ! Never had it come back before, followed by the worst cough ever, took about 3 weeks in the end to shake it. Get well soon, not nice
Had it just before xmas eve, still got it and docs in the morning, this one is different than the usual man flu
Good luck... I'm a bit worried as I never fully recovered from my accident and have reduced lung capacity around my heart.
What's this about Antepodian flu, just got back from the pub and my Mrs was on about, apparently it's the worst flu ever, first for me to hear about it. For many a year I used to say I had had the flu until one year I actually did have the flu, I can now honestly say in 65 yrs I've only ever have had the flu once in my life and I never want it again.
Yep, had it early December. A proper bastard and took weeks to shift. And yeah, I thought it was lifting only to come back again big style. And stand by for the after shock. About 3 weeks after it cleared completely, another (less powerful) cold hit me for 4 or 5 days.
I've had it since Christmas day!! As mentioned though hopefully it's going! Hope it don't come back as I hate being ill.
Another one here, arrived back at work yesterday and following a 20hr day... I retired for a reasonably early night as I felt a bit shitty, woke this at 4:30 this morning after what felt like the worst nights sleep ever and it seems I also have the same crappy bug that is doing the rounds... Looking on the bright side though, only another 11 hours of todays shift and 12 more to do after today though
2 days in my office with everyone but me coffin a spluttering, i’ll Be fecking amazed if I don’t get some sort of lurgi! I’m going to take to wearing a mask aka our Chinese brethren or me helmet permanently
picked it up at the weekend (my eldest son and dad has had it since xmas day) - been o/d'ing on lemsip, paracetamol and cough mix for last 5 days......only just starting to shift. Started with aching muscles/bones and then moved on to hacking cough/temperature.
Caught this bastard from my wife. On week 6 now, it seems to go away then mutates into another strain. Never coughed so much on my life, if fact the coughing fits got so bad I'd vomit. The wife's now moved on to a head cold, which I hope is the last stage and the next one for me. We had my daughter and her fiancé over at Christmas, they both have the same, the house was like a bloody hospital ward for contagious diseases!
I'm offshore Thailand at the moment and same here , everyone onboard is sick in some shape or form. Never heard so much coughing , sneezing , etc , etc . Whole place is riddled.
