Don't know I'm afraid. It failed some years ago. Wobbles about a bit so seems to be getting a signal. I bought a NOS from a breaker but that's doesn't even twitch. Either it's not the correct part or it too is broken.
ok thanks for looking,,I posted a advert up for one on the forum-916 sps tacho in december but no joy as yet!
I can't recall seeing a part number as such when I removed it over 15 years ago which is why I bought that replacement just by trying to match the dial face. I know it isn't a huge job to strip the front end and remove it so I can check again but as I've mentioned it's all very tight in the garage right now. Do you have a part number for what you need? I can check against the replacement I bought which I still have (the breaker wouldn't take it back as it was "electrical". Tw@t)
Hi there,If check on this forum I dont think they have part numbers on so you are correct,I have been to the D dealer and he has given me two numbers one for all the clocks and one for just tacho ,,but these will be no good to you!,,40020081A / 40240061A. Just for record i have no tacho at this stage and thats what i am after!
I've just found the spare I bought and as you've confirmed there are no numbers. For what it's worth you're welcome to try it....
Yes please, that would be a very good idea and helpful,I dont no where you are in relation to me.I will PM you so that our conversation is private!,Cheers
