I wondering if anyone have extra tumbler for pannier want to help me out, please let me know. I called the dealer most of them try to sale me at set.
I don't think another bike's tumbler will be any good as they should only work with the original key. Otherwise we'd all be liable to have our panniers and top boxes opened by any scroat with a random key. A new set from a dealer would be OK assuming they supply the correct key also. How much did they quote you for a set? What actually is wrong with the one you are holding? I had a failure when I was touring when the tumbler just turned in its socket and I could pull it out with the key. It was a simple fix for the dealer who seemed to just click it back into place. They did it whilst changing the broken hook on the latch, which is a recall item.
I need any pannier tumbler, I been lucky take it off any tune it to my key for the old multistrada, so if you have any pannier tumbler I am sure I can make it work with my key, a new set from dealer asking for $311 with three tumblers and two keys
