Hi All It’s time for a big service (15k) and a few bits need fixing, dreaded radiator leak and other bits and bobs. I’ve tried to contact the usual main dealers from afar and not so far but to be honest the unreturned calls and emails are putting me off, where are all the indies at.... The issue is the bikes unridable so needs to be picked up which I’m assuming is putting most of the dealers off. I’m a mk45 postcode and need some help with recommendations for independents that go the etc mile... this is going to be an expensive service so would want to pick wisely... Anyone recommend an independent that has a van for pick up or other options ? Thx
Glenn at Moto V is absolutely briliant, but is based in Colchester as a mechanic etc cant recommend him enough he has a van etc, but maybe too far for him but maybe he can get a courier etc, his website is http://www.moto-v.co.uk/
I`m also on an MK postcode and use Iain @ RPM bikes in Northampton. He has serviced my bikes for over 20 years and has worked at Baines as well as for Ducati. Not sure if he collects but if you get stuck I may be able to help as Mrs Dukesox is horse mad and we have a small horsebox which doubles up as a bike transporter.
Geoff Baines can do pickups in his van if required. Give him a call, Silverstone is not that far away from you, least way not compared to HP15 where I'm at.
