Rossi’s Gp11 Sold

  1. Doubt it would have been sold tbh
     
  2. Got a photo of me with that bike somewhere. It was on display at a show in Telford. Was so tempted to sit on it for a photo even if it meant getting chucked out.

    From memory most of the software is removed from the bike before being sold.
     
  3. IIRC it has the carbon airbox frame too so is worth something in historical terms..

  5. Stoner didn't ride a GP11, he was on a Honda by then :D
     
  6. Yeah whatever.... Stoner was the only man on earth that could wring every ounce of performance out of a Ducati Moto GP bike. Everyone else went for the Ducati big bucks and made cnuts of themselves. Including Rossi! :p

  7. I agree, but moaner Stoner was great on the 800 Duke but he never succeeded that much on the bigger, pig of a bike. ;)

    Most ex GP bikes have champagne stains on the paintwork ;):eyes:
