  4. More like the bill to Ducati UK  But they may see it as good publicity, almost free publicity as they get the bikes back. :)

  5. i'll think you will find that the whole Royal Circus Road Show cost's the tax payer inexcess of 100 million:thinkingface::thinkingface::thinkingface::thinkingface::thinkingface::thinkingface::thinkingface::thinkingface:

  6. I would wager its a shit load more than that mate, since the queens salary alone is 82 million. I read somewhere that the queen alone costs every UK taxpayer 62p a year, thats just the queen. Then you have the Greek, all their off spring, all the fucking cousins, third cousins, counts, countesses and every other scrounger that lives on a fuck off big estate cause they are somehow connected to the German up top. I bet you its billions in total !! And the country stands there waving little white flags every time this cash absorbing house of dole bums rocks up !! The country should vote and have the lot of em struck off !! Go get a job like the rest of the mere mortals have to, contribute something rather than take billions !! And before you lot start bashing on about how they earn more than they cost through tourism ?? Horse shit, as that number is actually published by....The Royal Household...Surprise surprise !!

  7. I dont care where the money goes, I just don't see why one family have the right to live off the UK taxpayer, because tradition says they can. It boils my piss !! And do you actually think Prince jughead really served in the same places as every other urk, on the frontline ?? A little naive if you do TBH

  10. The principle is wrong though. You can't have a democracy where everyone is supposedly equal, and then have a clear exception to the rule. I find it incredibly distasteful to have poor kids living in council flats through no fault of their own and then you have people literally living in a castle or a palace because they happened to be born to certain family. I understand that there will always be those born to richer or poorer families and there will always be injustice in that regard, but this is a ridiculous length to take that to.

As for revenue... the biggest barrier to tourism is that the UK isn't a part of the Schengen visa area. People coming from most countries need to get a separate visa to the UK, which is usually quite a bit of faff and quite a bit of money.

  13. Double it if you like.......

  14. You've been watching too much Star Trek mate. In the real world, where is this utopian state you crave by the way?

Good  (and it's not that much of a faff or expensive)

  15. You sir do not know what you are talking about in the least.

  16. Wow. That was going to be the next line of my reply, but I couldn't be bothered.

You sir have impressive mind reading skills.

  17. $128 to apply for a short term visit visa from Sri Lanka.

    Tourists can go to

    with a single Schengen visa.

And it is a massive faff. You have to have flights, accommodation, letters from work, bank statements. And you have to go to a third party to apply. And it can take quite a while to get the visa.

So you still think it's not expensive or difficult?

  18. Within reason we have to have visa control otherwise all our friends at Calais would just pop on a boat for a visit and if they liked it over here might not go back.

  19.

Right, so the UK isn't part of Schengen (thank god) and it costs exactly the same to get a visa to the UK and the EU.

You're argument seems to be that once on the EU, you can visit 26 countries for no additional cost. So you get a buy one, get 25 free type deal.

If foreign nationals (non EU) want to visit the UK and have to go through some checks to do so, then I'm all for that.

Anyway, where is the utopian state you craved earlier? You didn't answer in your fervor to dismantle the Royal Faimily and rehouse Magde in Hackney.
