Used up some offcuts of vinyl that I had lying around. It’s a bit rough, so I need to practice my vinyl skills!

  2. Rear section back on minus the grab rails painted in black which would look better in red but the painter only had black at the time, think I’ll re paint when the weather gets warmer plus I’ve still got the original rear section

  3. This is my 2016 Hyper 939 Thailand edition. It's a lot lower than standard, due to lower length fork travel and shorter rear shock. This was done from new. Currently in the process of making it standard height again, so will have a shorter suspension set-up for sale very soon.
Also fitted a SC-s1 race pipe, along with a Booster plug. Waiting for my K&N filter now, and Star Ace carbon air box mod. Should be a weapon when I've finished with it.

  5. Thanks, I'm glad I've inspired you! I'd like to ride it for a bit before I think about selling it.

  6. Where did you get the SC Can inside Thailand?
Can you give me the contact please?
    Cheers

  7. Wow, I'm loving that. Very very tidy.
I'd love to do something similar in the future. Would you have any advice for what parts you used , and few tips on the build if you have time please ?

  8. Thanks, I appreciate your comments! Below is the basics of the build...

I made the rear subframe and fitted a shortened scrambler icon seat, which I then reupholstered. I also relocated the ECU under the seat and built a battery tray under there too. The rear light is from a YAMAHA YZF-R125.

The tank is from a Kawasaki ER5 which I heavily modified ie, narrowed, lowered, reshaped at the bottom etc. I also mounted the original Hyper fuel pump inside. The air box has been removed and pod filters fitted to gain space for the tank. The ECU has been remapped.

The frame, forks, swingarm and engine are all standard, although I cleaned the frame up by removing all unneeded brackets etc. The engine I stripped back and repainted with a textured black paint.

The exhaust I made from a couple of decat pipes and the silencer is from Custom Werkes in the US.

There are alot of small custom made parts I made like the headlight mounts, the dash mount/surround, mounts for the scrambler icon fork guards (not fitted in the pics) I made an adjustable link arm so I can raise/lower the back end. I have also made a mount for the number plate which goes just under the rear light (also not in pics).

The wheels are standard with Continental TCK 80 tyres, 180 on the back and a 130 back tyre on the front (direction reversed) to give it a chunky look.

The rear sets are from a Hyper 1100 as they have removable passenger pegs, unlike the 796.

I wired the handle bars internally and added a brace bar again from a scrambler icon. I fitted a progressive spring kit to the front forks.

There's probably other bits and pieces I did, but they are the basics

I'm always happy to help with advice/tips etc if you go ahead, just pm me!

  9. Brilliant.
Thanks for taking the time for the write up.
I'm afraid I just don't have the vision to do what you have done, but with some of the info hopefully it will help without making an exact copy .
    Cheers again
