Bradders it’s not quite the same my carbon PP copy has a diffuser (a fancy hole) which breaks the airflow, especially if you’re only 5’10” like me
Well, luckily that was there when I stopped, just loose. The bolt, spacer and nyloc nut (note, don’t always work!) however were not! I think there was a spare in te kit, so new bolt and this time thread lock the nyloc nut on!
An afternoon cleaning ready for the first bike meet of the year next week. Also took off the pannier locating things that bolt onto the pillon rests just to see the exhaust a bit better.
The bike needed it’s weekly TLC, with a proper chain clean.....then I got carried away and “did the missus and her mate’s” (cars)
God I love Scotland when the weather is nice(ish). Covered around 200 miles today over Glenshee to Braemar , up Deeside , cut off to the Lecht, Grantown and back home via Dufftown. Roads fairly dry most of the time, and the grit and gravel is slowly starting to disappear. Absolutely fantastic day So lucky I live on the doorstep of these brilliant roads
Out and about today , in and out of the torrential showers. When the sun came out it was utterly brilliant, if just a tad cold. But hey ho , the weather does what the weather want's to. No point complaining about it. Few pics from around the wee hamlet / village of Pennan ( from "Local Hero" fame). The roads around this area never cease to amaze me. Distinct lack of bins though..... only found one and the bike hides it quite well
