Hi Guys, Just had an enlarged tank resprayed and want to replace the OEM lettering. I've already tried elsewhere, but the cut around the lettering wasn't exactly as OEM. Does anyone know the part number for the white 'DUCATI' tank lettering for the 1098R? The 1098R parts manual I have brings up the part number for the silver lettering!! Many Thanks!
That number is listed on the 2008 bike, the 2009 bike lists a different number, identical apart from being suffix'd AB rather than AA. 43813651AB. Doesn't say what colour it is though.

Thanks for the heads up Andy. I placed the order with my closest dealer in Nottingham so I'll see how that goes first. Also, any magic tips on positioning these stickers properly? Or is it just measuring and masking tape and eyeballing?
It's often worth trying your official dealer parts department first, as not all genuine bits and bobs are more expensive than aftermarket
I use the low adhesion blue painter’s masking tape to give me a straight line and then add a mark for the start point for the lettering. Been a bit of a guesstimate but had practice on a Diavel so only a pedantic anorak with a micrometer would know. Andy
Correct-a-mundo. 438.1.365.1AA is the 1098R White decal. The 1098S is exactly the same part number, they are both white.
Well, here is the Streetfighter part numbers for the 2 Silver decals. The part number above is for the Red tank (Silver decal). The silver decal for a black tank is a different number. Strange
Andy, my 1098R original tank decal is definitely White. I have 2 tanks in fact, and they are both white. I'm flummoxed.

The other part number (43813651AB) is coming up as: 1098R 1098S Tricolore https://www.bike-parts-ducati.com/ducati-motorcycle/assignment_spare_parts/43813651AB Just checked pics of the 1098s Tric tank and it looks white also! So hopefully it's right, should arrive some time this week so will confirm then!
