My 796 Hypermotard Clocks have all but faded - they function, cos you can just about see the display if you put your head very close to them. But this is not practical - and I dont think for a minute they will pass the MOT! This started a couple of years ago over winter when my trickle charger died just before I went away for 3 weeks. When I came back, they had become faint - but I had hoped that they might return with either a new battery, or some use. No chance. Now after winter 2017, despite being connected to a new Oxford charger, they are gone for good. I am hoping - nay, praying - that there might be a cheap fix somewhere. Possibly a fuse? A dry out with a hair dryer?? Stick the clocks in the fridge overnight?? Any decent advice appreciated ...

Bicycle Speedos are easily fitted and are very accurate. I used one on my '95 900Ss because the one on the bike was so wildly out it was useless.
