Quadlock Iphone system....

  1. Looks ace. Popped up on my news feed recently and someone on twitter suggested one to me. The concept was born from kickstater I believe (where the ios pebble watch device has come from) and at $60 it is not cheap but seems to be the perfect companion. The actual casing looks perfect and you can also buy a 'poncho' to waterproof devices. Looks the part I think and seems functional..

Will buy one and report back with a little HD review of it etc. :)

  2. Friend of mine's just got one to use on his mountain bike, looks well thought out.

  3. I’m thinking of getting one for the Scrambler. Anyone else have one. Are they any good?

  4. Quadlock is bar far the best system. They are amazing. I also have the armband for running and the car mount. Never fails. Just buy it

  6. Got it on the KTM. I could crash the bike and total it and the only survivor would be my iPhone in its quad lock. I’ve got the case and it’s actually really nice. The quad lock system on the back is actually quite slim and doesn’t protrude much.

Got a mount in the car too (just the small black disc, 3m stuck to the dash; very discreet) and my wife has the same case. We just hop in and can just twist the phone on for car satnav (Waze).

  7. Got one of these for my girlfriend at the end of April albeit for her push bike. Expensive, but well made and works very well. So well in fact I'll get myself one, when I buy a Mountain Bike that is!!

  8. Bought one. It works well. Pity the phone charge doesn’t.

  9. What are you using to charge?

  10. I’ve bought one of those stick chargers for my iPhone. Which should (in theory) give me a full days riding capacity, though I’ve not tested that yet. If that doesn’t work then I’ll have to get it hard wired I guess.

  11. Sat nav apps are pretty hard on the battery. On anything less than a full fat 2.4a charger, I get a slowed decrease in battery level.
