  1. Seen one come up for locally and it's a 2007 with the vw 2.0 tdi engine in. Other than vw lying on the figures , the car generally has some positive reviews. Anyone owned one?

  2. Next door neighbour has one. Hates it. In the garage almost as much as its driven LOL

Theres is a much later version, maybe 2016 model

  3. I'd wait for the new MOT rules to come into effect before buying an older diesel car, and then buy one that's got a new ticket.

  4. Wow! Looked at one when I was getting mine end of 2016 and could t find anyone getting no higher than 40, so opted for the XC60. On a run at 80mph I still manage mid 40’s, will push to 50 if you can stay at 60...

  5. Got a 2015 PHEV as well. Spends most of its life on battery on local trips. Get high 60's mpg on longer runs. Had no problems.

  6. what's the score with battery packs with these hybrids? are they on lease and go back once knackered? what sort of life expectancy is there on a hybrid battery pack, and what would it cost if not on lease and needed replacing? I have often wondered about battery pack warranty/life, given cells have a relatively short life in terms of charge/discharge cycles.

  7. You own the batteries and they have a 5 yr warranty (the new model has an 8yr warranty)

  8. Sales droid told me the battery pack in IS300 has a 10yr warranty as this was one of my main concerns when buying - no plan to chop it in after a few years.
