i recently bought myself a few trinkets and in with the deal is a set of Acerbis handguards with spoilers. The metal insert ones in black with Hypermotard written on them. I currently have the plastic ones that bolt onto the base of the mirror mounts. I test fitted the Acerbis Ones and found that they foul on the nose fairing? Has anyone fitted these and if so could they please post a picture or solution? I also end up with the 2 bolt holes at the mirror base looking unsightly. Is there a cure for this as well? Curious to know how to get these to fit properly as they offer much better protection. Cheers, Goose
Just as an update, I fitted some Rizoma 60mm bar risers, which has transformed the positioning on the bike and allowed me to fit the handguards. Now I’m looking to change the multistrada mirrors with indicators built in as I don’t need the mounts for the ms handguards now. Anyone recommend me a decent solution, nothing too expensive! Goose
