So last weekend went to start my mutley and it was turning over fine as usual but wouldn't catch. Annoyed I put the battery on charge just in case and tried a few hours later with the same result. The battery seemed fine but was a Varta that came with it and not sure of it's quality so I bought and fitted a fully charged Yuasa to be sure. Tried it after fitting and same result, turning over just fine but won't catch. There are no dash error codes, I've checked the injection/fuel relay and it's fine too, took the fairings off and checked the fuel tank breather lines and fuel pump connections and all good. Any advice on where to go next?
Sometimes a post does slip through the net John, I like to think that if it had had Urgent! or Stranded! In the title then someone would have come by now. Don’t know your bike that intimately, but I would be doing the “fuel or sparks” tests to start with.
Cheers Chris, Traced it to the injection rely after swapping a some out. Spark was there but no fuel. According to "SWMBO" I am impatient but no idea where she gets that from...
