  1. hi chaps, ive got an rsc cylinder on my track bike (gsxr k2) with early 748 calipers, the brakes just dont seem to be as good i thought they might be with this set up, its got new oro brembo discs with trw race pads and race fluid, would changing the setting on the mater cylinder help?? its on 20 at the moment, other number is 18.

    cheers

  2. Hi Alistair,
I'm running one of those, with GP4RS calipers, Z04 pads & Brembo discs, set on 20 on my GSXR K3 track bike & the brakes are awesome .....stopping power is brilliant, no fade & lever is solid. I don't think you problem is the master cylinder, so adjusting it to 18 won't improve things, it will only give you more travel on the lever.
When you say they're not as good as you were expecting, is that stopping power or feel?

  3. hi steve, feel i think mate, by the end of a track day the lever is nearly back at the bar, yes it stops but not as good as you'd expect, my standard cbr600 brakes stop better.

  4. I had one of those on my 916 with P34 4 pad calipers and HPK discs. It was fine, braking feel and power was excellent.
