1199s Vibration ?

  1. Hi,
    I've just noticed some vibration on my handle grips and mirrors around the 3000 revs upwards, its not bad but it does affect my mirrors and tingling sensation through my right hand! Any suggestions of what to look for ?

  5. the trouble is my right hand is now going numb and after owning this bike for 3 years you know when something has changed

  6. Well that's a different story, check all bolts/nuts for tightness, look for anything that has changed, maybe an engine tune/service is due?

  7. Thanks but i've looked around the bike and checked numerous nuts and bolts! seems to be engine rather than chassis as you can feel it when the bike is stationary.

  8. Cylinders might need balancing. Any slight rumbling noise at any revs. Might indicate bearings

  9. No engine noise, well apart from the normal V twin sound, think I'll drop it down to my local dealer just to have it checked out.
