Selling an engine from a 2000 748E. Had covered 26k miles before the oil pressure light came on and stopped play. The bike suffered a sudden loss of power whilst out on a ride so I immediately pulled the clutch in and waited for the AA. Stripped it down to find the big end has gone. I think I saved it before any damage was done to the rest of the engine. Managed to find a complete engine that bolts straight in so selling the original as a project/parts. Could do with a clean up. Gear box was working perfectly when the crank failed. Please see pics or contact me for more info. Thanks for looking. £350.00.
Steve, the Testa Bassa heads were fitted to E and S 748s from MY01 production through MY02, although some early build MY01 bikes still used the older design and the longer belts
