Hi chaps new to the site. I pick my 1199s up on Friday hopefully If it arives this weds. Has anyone on here had trouble with insurance quotes. Or could recommend a decent underwriter? Mce have been the cheapest so far but lots won't quote especially online.
Firstly congrats on the new beast, with regards to the insurance they all must think you've attached some kind of Taleban rocket launcher to your 1199 and it's going to cause mayem on the roads, typical reaction by insurance companies to extract the maximum wonga from our wallets, don't tell them you're going to ride it as well £££££££££ :biggrin:
Can't comment about insurers for the 1199 but I found Swinton Bikes were doing good deals, incl 25% online discount.
Swinton were cheaper than anyone last year when I got mine. Due again in May so we will see how they compare this year !
Interesting, I'm with MCE already so we'll see what they come up with to swap the s1000rr over to 1199 when it arrives- part of a multi bike so hope they are sensible!
