  1. Yes, for sale again at the original price. Not that I paid that, no wonder I got nearly 10% off if I included delivery.

I would like to think they would sort it out but they never offered to sort it for me just refunded no problem.

  2. mmmm.. highlighted the tyre make with white paint.

  3. Just read this, what is with the British and fear of naming and shaming? not just hinting.

    Or, am I missing something

Go on yank forums and they can't wait to slag off bad service, probably why they've got good consummer laws i.e. 90day lemon law!!

  4. Spot on. In America after sales service is excellent.

  5. Sorry to hear about this. The only way to sort it is to fit a new tank and they'll not want to do that because what a tank will cost will mean they'll lose money on the bike. They're obviously just hoping someone with no knowledge of the problem will buy it and think nothing of it.

  6. Which means to me that they are not a reputable dealership at all. If they sell it discounted and point out the defect that would then be a purchasers decision based on fair information. It now raises the issue of them selling a vehicle with a known defect. Prior to this sale they could claim ignorance but not following the complaint and refund.

  7. If they’re a reputable dealer, they could probably get the tank foc from Ducati and it’s only costing them labour.

As it is, it won’t pass an MOT therefore they’re not selling a road legal bike.

  9. Big miles, but a cheap bike.

  10. Wow, just read this, best of luck dealing with them again  and i hope the new owner doesn't have an accident, but i am sure Ducati uk have sorted the problem with the dealer

  11. I would like to think that if Ducati UK found out about this, then they would be horrified. You have to work hard enough to keep up the brand image and reputation without your own dealers trashing it. The dealer must of known about the issues but choose to try and get away with it. Very short term thinking.

  12. Ducati Bradford get it right....right about lufc though :upyeah:

  16. Correction. Caveat Consumer Rights Act 2015.

No such thing as caveat emptor in business to consumer sales
