Question chaps..Looking at the front pads on the 996r yesterday and they need replacing now question is:stock replacement or other brand
Brake pads are as emotive as tyres. My preference is the Brembo SC pad which I use in the 748R, 853, 1098R and Carole's Diavel. No need to warm up, no fade but a little more abrasive on stock discs. I'd use them on the Multistrada if they did the pad for that caliper. I hate EBC with a passion but others love them and to be fair they do seem to produce less brake dust that claggs up the floating discs. Andy
I tend to use ebc hh and have done for years but I also tend to use the same stuff until it lets me down then I try something new, just like tyres.
