Got an ex tri-options race bike but only do trackdays. I reckon if I take the oil-catcher off I can squeeze a side stand back on with little work. Thoughts? Cheers, Bob
Or, easier just to cut away the but that gets in the way. If you want to, just in case, you can fibreglass some cardboard or similar to keep it catching oil
No need to take it off, if my memory is correct, I bolted on the ss and it fits inside the catchpan and then just trimmed until it works or you could just take the catchpan off as @Nelson has done.
Quick Update: Side stand went straight on with no bother; if I took the oil catcher off. I decided that oil catchers are not a bad thing, so I gave it a careful trim with the dremel, and it all fits It still holds enough fluid to pass ACU regs [just in case]
