Hi All, Opportunity to save a bit on some pre-owned R&G crash protectors and hoping someone can advise re these kits? There’s two part numbers on this kit CP0389BL (looks like current version fits all Panigales) and CP0358BL (older version, lists only 899 & 1199). I don’t know if this is because the kit components changed for the 1299, there’s different fastenings which come only in the later kit or it’s simply an instruction update / marketing revision as the 1299 was added? Anyone know if these kits are one in the same? Thanks!
I have the 389 one on a 1299. Probably extra parts. Just call R&G and ask the difference in parts lists. You can buy the extra bits needed (if any) separately. You can then work out if the overall price of your kit plus parts is still better than the updated kit..
