i have 996 2000 model and only have one key ,do you know if the ones on ebay work and i can get the cut at local cutters the keys are are £12 on ebay but need to get them cut or can i go to local cutters and just get key cut without buying ducati one colin
Any key cutter should be able to cut one from your existing key so long as they have the correct blank which my local key cutter did not. I ordered ablank (uncut) key from a Ducati dealer which can then be cut to suit. It was a few years ago now and I don't rember the cost but it was not a great deal. If I can find it I'll put the part no. up.
I think the genuine Ducati ones are £8 each, I ordered two additional spares from Ducati Winchester. Got them cut in the high street job done.
