1098 R .......... Quick Release Rear Hubs...

  1. Just noticed my cush drives are backing out on the Bayliss, a few ali flakes on the wheel rim :mad: - will need to keep a watch tomorrow but only a short run out :eyes:

    Who makes aftermarket rear hubs, I might invest in a posherer one :thinkingface: any recommendations - anyone got one for sale :):upyeah:

  5. Ive this carrier on SFS(1098R should be same), Good quality and price isn't bad, Is it the carrier or hub your after?

  6. Hopefully just the carrier if the hub isn't goosed! The flanges in the bores stop the cush drives backing out I think :thinkingface:

  7. Think I paid around £80 for the one above, At the time the Renthal was double that, Yep the quick release ones have the lip to stop the cush drives backing out

  14. I'm guessing you've been applying all the correct torque settings? It's a critical area for correct settings.

  15. Isn't there a fix where you can use a punch on the back/inside of a normal sprocket to create a small lip to stop it backing out?

    I seem to remember reading that somewhere before.
