  4. I love it, and I have to say that most of those on the trip thought it was the best all round bike for the conditions. And they thought that in Italy, when I went to WDW too, so that must say something.

  5. Turned heated grips on for the first time since April

  7. About what I expected from previous post opp physio shoulder hurts a lot more at the end of the session than at the start
Load up on strong painkillers before you go

  8. Started reading about Captain Beefheart.

Apparently, Bono once wrote a letter to Captain Beefheart asking if he would be interested in writing/recording together. The reply was hand written, and it said this:

    "Dear Bongo, No."

  11. Sewer repair men are not very bright.
Large property (100ft of drain), collapsed drain pipe in the road. Cesspit full to brim, pavement height....
Them 4ft down a large hole digging downstream of property ..... when they hit pay dirt......
Took 3 or 4 seconds to fill the hole to a depth of around 3ft.......... Nice. ...

  12. Realised on the journey back from Wales that I was coming down with something. Yesterday the back of my nose and throat started to get prickly and this morning I woke up to my throat and chest on fire. Feeling miserable and checking in on the flights to Murcia for Cartagena in a fortnight didn’t cheer me up :( Carole popped over after work to clean her Scrambler after the weekend jaunt so in an impromptu moment we decided to go for an Indian. 2 chilled beers and a Patia later, I’m much happier :) Andy

  14. Parts turned up from the U.S. yesterday, so the patient was wheeled out today and replaced clutch master cylinder, clutch lever, front brake reservoir and support, right clip on bar only, bled brakes and clutch with some of my remaining blue fluid, replaced oil cooler (not because of damage, just battered at front), replaced radiator (not damaged, just corroded), replaced cans after cleaning all the tar spots, right can from donor set, replaced subframe, cleaned more of right side and underside of engine, some of left side, replaced magnesium fairing support, cleaned and refitted headlamp, cleaned more of frame, removed burr from left clip on and clutch lever retaining bolt, removed battery tray for access for cleaning everything.

    To be continued.... WP_20180925_015.jpg WP_20180925_007.jpg WP_20180925_022.jpg WP_20180925_027.jpg WP_20180925_031.jpg WP_20180925_037.jpg WP_20180925_039.jpg WP_20180925_045.jpg

  19. Today I fitted the Ducati sat nav bracket, complete with one of Desmo Dave's brackets for my Zumo 590 cradle, to my Mulitistrada. Also fitted one of Jamie's screen spacer kits.

No chance to test either on the road yet though :(

  20. Winter liners zipped in, adjusted gear shifter, had something to eat, had some vitamin c tablets, surprised at the sight of my illuminated waste. More fearful of becoming a vegetarian.
