Hi all, So I thought I would post a quick review of the GB MOTO rear sets bought from Darren at GB MOTO here: DUCATI 748 916 996 998 GBMOTO REARSETS FOOTRESTS They are made from black anodised alloy and come complete with all fittings required in stainless steel. The bearings in all the levers are stainless steel too and allow for a super smooth lever movement (and gear change) with no 'sloppy' feeling in the levers. There was no instruction manual included with the rear sets but fitment was fairly self explanatory. The finish isn't as top quality (i.e. 'shiny') as say some rear sets from harris or gilles but these retail at less than £180 delivered!! First hand experience is that they are real good quality, well made pieces and now comfort can be achieved add there are many many configurations to choose from for peg position. You can also adjust toe peg position etc. They 'feel' good quality and have a decent weight to them. The only problem I had was that the rod for the brake lever side isn't quite long enough but one call to Darren sorted it out as he sent me a slightly longer rod eye bearing that has solved the issue FREE OF CHARGE  The to pegs are made from delrin so they they grind down instead of digging in on 'over exuberant' corners. Darren is a top guy to deal with and has real pride in these rear sets and for the money I don't think you will get any better; also they are fully rebuildable and spares for every separate component are available at very reasonable prices - plus they are made in britain  Overall I am very very happy and would recommend them to anyone that is looking for rear sets to fit their 916/748/996/998 regardless of budget! I obviously have no affiliation to Darren or GB MOTO racing (he doesn't know I am posting this) but I wanted to let everyone know as I looked for ages to find a good quality adjustable rear set for my 748 that wouldn't cost a fortune. And of course, PICS:
I have these fitted to my 748, and yes they are very good value. Would certainly advise others to give them a try. I retained the carbon heel plates tho, as I wasn't too keen on their design.
I believe there is a way you can yes. However I have found that it is actually more comfortable for me in a higher and further back position?
