  1. Hello Ducatisti!
Hope all of you are well!
I have a big question to ask.
Three years ago, I bought my bike, a Monster 696. Now recently I moved to a new contry (France) and I took my bike with me.
I have to change plate number and all are asking me this document COC (Certificate of Conformity), I asked to Ducati UK this certificate and they told me that in the past it was already give this certificate to someone and they are not able to do a new one because the bike is less than 10 years old. I contacted the guy from I bought the bike, the previous one as well, and Metropolis in Vauxall were this bike was bought from new, also I contacted DVLA and they don’t know nothing about this document.
I’m asking you guys if I can do in a the different way or some of you did or know something about it.
Also will help to send that little part from the V5 to tell them that my bike is not in UK anymore??
Thanks guys hope to have great news?

    Best regards

    Roberto

  2. You will need to contact the factory in Italy [email protected] for a copy C of C - they are usually supplied with the bike but the dealers don't often pass them on. They will charge you for the document but I'm not sure how much...

  3. Good luck with the CoC, got mine in UK before leaving. BMW though and apart from the £120, no hassle.

Have you got your Quittus Fiscal yet from the Centre Des Impots..?

  4. BTW, its a bit of a challenge.

    CoC
    Quittus fiscal
    French mobile
    La Poste ID
    ANTs registration
France Connect....stuck on France Connect at the moment, which I need for the next stage on ANTs!!! getting an error code when entering La Poste ID (!!!) waiting for an email back. Would have given me serious blood pressure when younger, just shrug and get on with it now. Fugit:upyeah:

  5. Hi J biker,

Thank you so much for your post and your time.. what is the quittus fiscal? Don’t have this and no idea about it!
A challenge indeed!! Good luck for yours and let me know more if you can:)

  6. You need to go to your local centre des impots, mine was in Brive, to get the form. I speak a little (very little French) but checked what I wanted and the main phrases before I went in. They were very helpful, but spoke less English than I do French...so be prepared.
    The form is foc.
Be prepared to spend some time at the Centre des Impots. Nothing happens fast and there was a ticket system in place that even had natives scratching their heads at what to do. That was stage one before being sent to a different part of the building lol...
The form shows that taxes are paid. You need receipt/proof of purchase for the bike. Log book, proof of address (utility bill), passport/ID.
Something that shows mileage, I had just had the bike serviced so took the receipt for that, showing mileage. I think a vehicle needs to be over one year old and have at least 6k miles showing.
From what I understand it means tax will not need to be paid twice...

Latest is, I have France Connect. Get an error code on the ANTs site when trying to use it though so cant get over the next hurdle just yet, my internet is slow as well.

Quittus fiscal or Certificat fiscal. Same thing.

Not wanting to panic, there is supposed to be a time limit on registering. Also UK insurance seems to be a maximum 3 month, but small print is max 1 month at a time, 3 month total European cover.

Apparently, some garages will do the registration process for you, at a cost. Probably worthwhile if you can get paperwork in order, and something maybe worth a to look at.
Back in UK for a wedding this weekend then will have another go when get back at sorting mine out.

Where in France are you located?
