Can a ecu from one bike be used on another? Plug & play or is it tied to origional bike? I wanted to try the ecu from my hyp evo on my wifes Monster evo, similar states of tune just hyper is velvet smoothe from 2500 but the monster shakes & shudders like a jackhammer. Its has a Rexxar remap & 14t front sprocket, hyper on 15t.
HI, Did you get the low speed mixture right on your Monster? I have a 2012 Evo with an Arrow exhaust and new midpipe to eliminate the exhaust valve. I had Rexxer flash my ECU and now I have a rough spot between 2500-3500 rpms. Definitely better mid range pull once I'm above this area. I didn't have the stutter until after the flash. My bike only has 1k on the clock and Rexer has suggested I have cracks in my map sensor hoses and possibly clogged injectors. Let me know what you did to get your Monster running right?
No never got the monster sorted, may give up on the Rexxar map & go custom at BSD, Probably next year.
