Any tips for removing this? I have a 2 legged puller on it, the nuts on the thread to stop it flying across room, ive tried heat too and hittong the puller, it will not budge. I can take it to Ducati Glasgow, even considered making my own puller but is there another way?
That's how I do mine on a 996, takes a fair amount of heat from an electric heat gun. Try not to get to carried away with hitting the puller as the shock could damage the mains.
I try to make the special tools if I can - the primary gear special tool is one I'm glad I went for in the end. Not cheap but once two or three engines done worth it.
