Wanted - Paddock Stand for an 848 or Recommendation for a decent one!!

    Looking for a paddock stand for my 848 and also if anyone could recommend a paddock stand, other than the ducati one, I would be grateful!

  4. I've got the abba stand for my 848... wasn't too pleased at the idea of £100 but i swear its worth every single penny... great piece of kit..

  5. Other than the Ducati one.....how about the FG Gubelini one then ;-)

    ABBA stands are great for maintenance work, but not to pop it onto for a quick clean or wheel change.

  6. I dunno, I can get it up in seconds..... The bike too haha.... I like the abba though as literally one stand fits all & the attachments are cheap enough for different bikes.... I've had a bottle jack underneath too to fully unload the suspension over the winter... but yeah depends what you need the stand for... For a quick clean then a dedicated single sider is probs the best bet..

    I use my ABBA for winter and bigger jobs, but day to day the paddock stand is far quicker and easier.

  8. I bought one of those RS16 stands from Probike last week. It's solid as you like and really well made. Might not be as sexy as the Harris but it seems brilliant on first impressions.

    Again, thanks for the recommendation. :smile:
