  1. Hello everyone ,probably a stupid question ,but how do u measure a termogoni slip on can for a 999 ,how would you know if you have a 50 / 54/ 57 ,

  2. slip the can off and check the diamiter of the bore

  3. just measure the size of the pipes that are entering the can no need to even take it off......

  4. Do u mean the end tips ,as the pipes entering the slip on can are my standard pipes ,

  5. then what do you want to measure them for?

The std 999 pipes are asymmetric i.e. one big pipe one little pipe of different lengths. Now you can get a better open can to suit them it would be a open can for asymmetric system with the front pipe de catted.

The 50 54 57 thing ( the bore of the pipe in mm) you are thinking about are systems that are from an equal length pipe system albeit they do go from 2 pipes into one (the banana bit) and then into two again.

  6. Thanks andy ,clearing that up for me cheers :upyeah:
