Paint job ideas.

  1. As I need to repaint the monster I was thinking should I just do it the same way, white with go faster red stripe or something new.

    Thing is no idea what would be that new.

    I have a red frame and white rims, could re-paint the rims if good idea was presented.

    Your suggestions (picture, PhotoShop mock-ups) of new paint job would be welcome.

    I like clash in colours and strong colours on monsters like proper white, orange and so on. Aerograph things are also cool.

  5. Ar yep...kinda wish you hadn't looking at the 2nd one ;-)

    Why no look at getting it wrapped? May be cheaper and easier in the long run and its simple to remove and give the tank to someone to do it. You could have a pic of you smiling up at yourself off the top of the tank :) lol

  7. Lukaz I'll be wrapping my chopped tank in CF soon, maybe that's an idea. I was going to do it in Alufiber but changed my mind

  8. Noooo CF as extra bling yes but wrapping never liked it.

    El T I get you as that one is hate or love.

    I have made a hole in my tank so need to paint new one anyhow. Was thinking that silver and red like 1st photo.

    I like wrapping idea. Top of tank my head, seat cowl my ass hmmm

  12. Ding ding ding. I see one problem, you would have to wrap it every year and think about how many excuses you would have to produce to get enough tax discs ;)

  15. How about getting all your old pictures of friends/family/bikes/special moments/favourite internet pics and making a wrap from a collage of them, I think Yamaha did it some time ago with pics of club members

  16. Can we get back on subject of actual paint job ideas and pictures of it rather then what to wrap the bike in. Multistrada people wrap their bikes for winter and it is enough ;)

  18. Tell you what there's some good "paint style wraps now " .

    Obviously painting your wheel rims is loads cheaper then the frame which is a faff... And expensive :)

    Why not do something different from your white and red???
    With out offence meant no more red bikes with white stripes .. They look nice but it's the most popular paint job going .
