Help - Dx54 Epc Ducati 749s - Ownded By Darren Taylor / Serv By Ducati Dave

  1. Anyone know this bike? owner? had 4 owners in total - only 9k miles looks mint.

    Looking at buying it but its a way away so wont get a proper look to see it before parting with money.

    Appreciate any advise/help.

  2. No MoT between April 11 and March 17 but done 6000 miles, 2x the mileage it had done from new up to April 11. Whilst 6000 miles in a year (April 11- March 12) isn’t unreasonable, given the advisory in ‘17 was near limit rear brake pads, I suspect rather than sitting in a lounge somewhere for 5 years, it’s been a track bike. If it’s close to me (Reading/Newbury) happy to go have a look. Andy

  3. Its for sale paddock motorcyles congelton - anyone had any dealings?
    will try and load up some info.

    last owner bought on 11/11/17

    7/2009 mileage was 2k with mot
    4/2011 mileage was 3k with mot - nothing till 2017
    3/2017 mileage was 8069 with mot
    4/17 Service belts ducati john mileage 8198
    7/17 chain/sprockets mileage 9.1k
    current 9574 miles

  4. new rear pads fitted April 17 also with belts etc at ducati john

  8. Followed your link. My, my what a sloppy advert, £4800 for an ’04 Mk1 749 is top money for a fully documented bike which this isn’t and I suspect the “part service history” referred to is just the 2 Ducati John receipts. IMO, this is one to walk away from and not look back. Andy

  10. Looks clean and standard. But as above, likely track miles. May have had track bodywork and all road kit stored.
