After a new set of tyres for my 748r. Don't do many miles on it and only tend to use it in the dry weather, so after something sticky Not overly bothered about mileage however I don't want something that'll go square fast! May do a few track days later in the year. Looked at 2nd hand supercorsa's on flea bay as they are just so cheap, but I'm concerned about their road performance, as the roads in south Wales ain't exactly butter smooth. Any ideas??
I've got some Dunlop GP Racer scrubs on mine. Great tyres, not sure they are going to last too long but for £90 i can't complain. Next time i will probably go for the Sportsmarts.
I have just fitted Rosso2s. went to llandow circuit on friday, They were excellent, Took then right to the edge and never gave any scary moments. They should last well on the road too.
Right so we're back on! I have ordered a pair of part warn supercorsa's SC02 thought I'd give them a go as for £80 I guess it is worth a look! If they square of quick then I guess I'll buy more road going tyres?
I run a Diablo Strada rear and the slightly softer Diablo Sport on the front. I'm not a nutter, but I can get the bike over quite confidently to respectable angles with complete confidence. They appear to be wearing very well, too.
Dunlop sportmax sportsmart have on my 749 and had on my gixxer 6, good tyre, plenty of grip and feel at full lean!!
I am running Supercorsa SC2/1 on my 748. I have the bigger 180/60 profile on the rear and I am amazed how stable it feels when cranked over! Previously used Corsa Diablo 3's and they were great if you ride on the road only... I think the Suoercorsa is the perfect tyre for the 748 for fast road activities. I don't care if it only lasts a couple of k tbh, its all about the moment for me...
