ive been on an epic journey today................

  1. well only to halfords to grab some oil filters ...............then i set about changing the oil/filters on the 848 and emms 7 .....OMFG 1hr it should of taken ..............oh no emms 748's filter did not wanna come off 2 and a half hours later and muchos swearing ..its off ......cool job done ..........now the 8 .....OMFG now the sump plug is being a bastard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! one hour later .....................i had no 5mm allen keys long enough to lever the feckin thing off and no allen sockets..... jeeeeeeeeeeeeez ....AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!!!!!!!


    DONE NOW .....FOUR AND A HALF FACKIN HOURS FOR TWO OIL CHANGES ...............:eek:

  3. takes me 20 minutes on my little 'berg :biggrin:

    ...and 850ml of oil.
     
  4. Probably because you have to change it about every 20 minutes!!!!

  6. Never knew Halfords sold oil filters for Ducati

  8. Take it they are as good as the Ducati item?

  10. I guess so but who's to say k/n or hiflo or even oe Ducati stuff is any different ..... There a good fit and run up till the fans cut in twice with no probs ........ I spose it's a comfort thang ? " oh I only use k/n and shell advance on mine" makes no odds to me it's under the fairing ..... Same with oil ........ Old chip fat is ok right???
     
  11. Yup....just remember to strain the scraps out of it through a pair of old tights n I'm sure it will fine....:wink:
