  5. You have heard correctly. IIRC the last 'R' to be numbered was the 996 and not all of them were numbered. Andy

  6. 996R 350 numbered 150 not: 998R were numbered, 999R + 999R fila were too and the 1098R Bayliss...

  8. Stu,This makes the ducati panigale speciale more "special over the R" then in my book:upyeah:see my post 7677 regarding the manufactured numbers below the 1500 as per ducati advertised!

  10. Yes and no,Much less numbers (1350ish with all the nice bits included in the price tag) than the new R when it comes out,and ducati will pump out the numbers on this one,over 2000 pluso_O but each to their own.

  18. 450 for the American market iirc. Some of them found there way into other markets, including here.

    The youke number plaque is very different to the usual Ducati plaque. So I don't think it was a factory numbering job. Proabnly Ducati North America. :thinkingface:
