Hi all, Regrettably, a few days ago @El Toro had made the decision to stop his role here as admin. It's a bloody difficult job, pretty thankless, and a voluntary role that is, to be honest, very hard to get it right. On one hand it's important to keep the place well maintained, well moderated and as free from useless crap as possible to help make it the best bike forum on the planet. Then on the other hand, in an ideal world, we would leave it be and let users self moderate. Finding the balance between the two is pretty much impossible as everyone will have a different opinion. The excellent news is that, after many many discussions (and I know El T has had many more message of support from members here) he's staying on as Admin here. He has been an integral part of this community since pretty much the beginning. Thanks El T, for everything you've done here I do hope that will continue for a long time. Also, some more brilliant news; to support, @Ducbird will be joining the team. I know she's a massive part of the community too, and I hope you will all welcome her to the role Thanks @Ducbird for offering to support, I know you're going to be great (hope you know what you've let yourself in for?!!). Finally, we are all human, we like banter and that's what makes this place a great place to be. The rules here are pretty relaxed... But to summarise all the rules in four words... Don't be a dick ... Help this place to be the best bike forum in the world. Cheers, Rob.

I go away for a few days and you lot broke El !! glad to see your back chap, we all like a good flounce from time to time and why not. As the forum grows it was always too much for one pair of hands and I think you're moving too? a stressfull time for anyone. A good idea to share some of the load so good luck DB too
Great to hear something really positive after the last few days, hasn't quite felt right but all's well again and good luck to DB in her new role, hope everyone will be supportive and at least fairly well behaved.
