Hi all, As mentioned in the 'Easter forum trip anyone?' thread There is a ride organised for Saturday the 13th of April 2019 It starts and ends at Taunton and goes through, over and under Exmoor and takes in some of North Devon too. I have asked the organiser and he has said that anyone from here is welcome. This is how it is worded on another forum; "13th April 2019 Tesco Taunton Castle Street Taunton TA1 4 AB Fuelled-up and ready for 0900 for a 0930 (ish) departure Come and join us for a ride around 150 miles of Somerset and North Devon`s finest roads. You really ought to try and make this one, it's a ripper. It would be good to meet some new forum members to make the numbers up, bring your mates from other forums too. Those of us who travel a couple of hundred miles (twice a year) to attend this event usually make a weekend of it. Well on the basis that the date seems to be 2119, I'm going to have to decline as I will pretty much be DEAD!! Even though some who know me, might suggest this could be the better of the available options, I would definitely prefer to be around to ride my Mutli and this could be a good way to add miles, especially as I know quite a bit of this route, however, by car, NOT bike! I will check the diary and could be in for this.

Hi Andy, I did the run last September. Valves (from Farnham) led the second group on his V-strom 1000 (He introduced the run to the V-strom forum of which I'm a member too). Great day great company.
Cool, Stuart has become a good mate over the years......not many of the 'old gang' have SV's now-a-days but he still has his SV1000N. I missed last Sept but aiming to be there April, be good to meet you.
Yes and no.....having gone orange some time ago I don't spend much time here now but Rob left mod status for whatever reason.
Unfortunately it's looking less likely that me and the 1260MTS will be turning-up for this run-out. If anything changes then I'll be there as timing suggests and confirm in advance. Have a great time and fingers crossed that the weather is decent for the ride. BE SAFE everyone....
A great ride on some of Somerset and North Devon's best roads. Good weather; a little cool but dry. Many thanks to @Hugo Magnus for posting the invite. Hugo and I were the only Ducatis, so hopefully more of us will come along in September for the next one. @Hugo Magnus please let us know the date/time .
