In that case, 12.2v is absolutely fine. I had the impression that was the voltage after using your battery tender.
The 12.9v shown after switch off will reduce down dramatically to begin with. It’s reading that high because of the charge rate that was going through it. If you were to go and test it again I’d imagine it to be in and around the 12.2v range again.
I did recheck the Monster today and @Wull you are correct, it is back to 12.2. I also installed the tender connector on the Husky. A few minutes job turned into 20 when I dropped a terminal bolt into the abyss under the battery. Had to completely remove the battery and reach into a small crevice with needle nose pliers to get the little bugger out. The Husky battery read 11.9 this morning. Started just fine...not sluggish at all.
Mine appears to be accurate. Multi-meter on battery. Both bikes. @AirCon feel free to use this data in your table. I only had time enough to go out to the garage.
It's more likely the battery tender is out on my Lidi cheapy.... 12.7 on the tender... 12.2, again just a super quick test. Once again and great find. And thank you @Faith for bringing it to our attention.
